Happy Birthday to our 10 year old today. You have experienced so much this past year alone - Grade 4, political unrest, seeing riot police, smelling tear gas, coronavirus, your first bike accident, online school, new friends, Google Meet, new adventures, hiking Lion Rock, the list goes on. A little celebration of surviving 9 weeks of online teaching. Some restrictions are being implemented in HK however thankful that we're still able to go out and eat. Taking a break from online learning. It's the end of Week 9 for us here in Hong Kong. Super thankful that we have Spring Break in less than 12 hours 😝. For friends back in Canada, you've just begun a challenging adventure, possibly the best professional development you'll ever take. You've got this. As for us, time to veg out, relax, read a book and do some Netflix binge watching. Okay I'm going to jump on this too. You know how much Team Wong loves to eat and so ... I ask those who love to eat to join the challenge to publish a picture of a home cooked meal. Just a picture, no description. The goal is to flood Instagram with positive photos instead of negative. Copy the text and # and attach a picture and see how many home cooked meals we get. The weekend. Completed Week 8 of online teaching and now looking forward to Spring Break in 5 days ... but whose counting 😝?
